We asked Crystal some questions about her journey in health, yoga, and beyond. Here's what she shared with us:
How did your journey into holistic health begin?
My journey began when I became vegetarian about 15 years ago. This really opened my eyes to things we don't really know about the food industry. From there, I got more and more interested in organic as well. This was around the same time I discovered yoga and when I found that, I realized it was what I had been searching for all my life! A deep connection to spirituality that comes from your own connection to Source.
Do you have any routines that keep you feeling good?
I try to meditate daily and if I do yoga, that's a cherry on top! I teach women that it's so much more important to do a little bit every day then just to go to one hour-long class per week. A little time every day really adds up! Even closing your eyes and taking 10 deep breaths can have an impact.
What are your preferred ways to practice self care?
Yoga, meditation, getting out in nature and yoga nidra recordings on YouTube.
Ajna is related to intuition. Can you think of a time that you listened to your intuition rather than other people’s opinions?
My husband and I are unconventional. We've done a lot of things that others might consider crazy, like him giving up a high paying job to start an organic farm. We listened to our Intuition and did what we knew we had to do! I've also let it guide me in building my online community, retreats and yoga teacher trainings. I'm so glad I listened though it does go against the norm so it's important to find others out there like you!
If you could give one piece of advice to yourself ten years ago, what would it be?
To trust in the Universe's plan. Everything is coming in due time and to keep the faith and don't be so hard on yourself!
What’s your favourite Ajna product?
I adore the meditation cushion but the yoga mat and all the products I've gotten so far are amazing. I love supporting sustainable companies!
